Aims and objectives

• To provide a domiciliary care service to children and young people with physical and learning disabilities and health care needs by using appropriately qualified management and employing care staff with relevant skill, experience and qualifications.
• To provide respite for parents caring for disabled children by offering qualified care staff trained to meet all aspects of health and social care needs including personal care.
• To provide young people with support to develop social and independent living skills by offering staff to assist young people in accessing community based activities.
• To provide tailor made packages of care by having client centred planning processes and offering comprehensive risk assessments.
• To provide a safe service to children and young people with autism and behavioural difficulties by offering staff trained in supporting young people with Autism and communication difficulties.
• To provide specialist packages of care to cover all aspects of children's developmental needs from personal care to social needs inclusive of specific therapy needs.
• To provide a service which enables children and young people with physical and learning disabilities to access play and leisure opportunities including holidays by offering play and leisure groups and residential holiday trips.
• To work in partnership with other agencies involved in the welfare of the children and young people we are working with.
• To follow government guidelines and initiatives including “Every Child Matters”, “Youth Matters” and "Aiming High for Disabled Children" to contribute towards improving outcomes such as: being healthy, staying safe, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution and achieving economic well-being.
• To have open channels of communication with professionals and families alike.
• To effectively respond to concerns and investigate complaints by following our strict complaints policy.
